I am a foreign tourist visiting Hong Kong, and unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had while traveling. I arrived around midnight after spending the day exploring the city. I ordered a local beer, and the waiter told me it cost 88 HKD. He asked me to pay him directly, so I handed him a 100 HKD bill. After a long wait, he even gave my beer to another customer by mistake before finally bringing it to me. When I asked for my change, he told me he would bring it later. A few minutes afterward, he came back with a card machine and demanded that I pay for the beer again. I explained several times that I had already paid him in cash, but he kept insisting that I had not. He even threatened to take the beer away if I refused to pay a second time. I asked to speak with the manager and requested that they check the security cameras, but nobody was interested in resolving the situation. The person who claimed to be the manager immediately sided with the waiter and told me to drink the beer and leave. Moments later, he told me to leave the bar, completely ignoring the fact that I had already paid. This was never about the 100 HKD. It was about the humiliation, frustration, and disrespect I experienced. I was made to feel like a liar and a scammer when all I did was ask for the change from money I had already handed over. I would not recommend this place to any tourist. My experience was unpleasant from start to finish, and it left me with a very negative impression of the establishment.
