Wanted to find a quaint cocktail bar in the village with good drinks and atmosphere.. this place was perfect. Chris and Matt are fun and talented drink masters!! We had so much unexpected fun and met some great people. Chill vibes and the best paper planes we ever had. Also VERY clean and welcoming

Two great visits on quiet Thursday nights. Matt was behind the bar both nights, a cool, friendly, welcoming person. And the second time the most lovely Souhail was also working. I just had wine but the cocktails look amazing. This is a place to talk, it’s not too loud. I felt very at home and the place just feels welcoming and kind of intimate in a non-sleezy way.

This used to be one of my favorite cocktails lounges in Toronto, but not anymore! For the last year since this new location has been open, I have come in the odd time for a drink, and I was happy to see this place open again. I really did love the old bar, the whole ambiance, and is why I decided to go back. The first time I came to the new location, as soon as I walked in, there was a group of guys sitting at the bar, and they started to insult me for no reason. It was ridiculous! It’s like they have an issue with strait women coming into the bar for a drink. I couldn’t believe it, and I felt a lot of aggression when I walked in. There is one older and taller man with greyish hair named John that started it, and later on, he would continue to insult and slander me not just at this bar, but at other establishments within the Church and Wellesley village as well as other regulars that hang out here after John's comments. When it first happened at this location, the staff saw it, and they did not care, because “they all know him”. It wasn’t right what he did, and they should have handled it better. Then again last fall I had an issue with another older man sitting at the bar and insulting me for no reason. As he started to drink more, he gave me a dirty look telling me that he cannot stand "fu$%en" straight people, started to get in my face, got aggressive, and wanted me to leave. I couldn't believe it, and I was in complete shock as I did nothing wrong to deserve this. I was just sitting at the bar having a drink. This is not the original Boutique that I once knew. The one manager on shift that night saw it, did nothing, and I got a vague apology from the one bartender. They did not care. Never have I been treated this badly going out for a drink. It was messed up, and I will never forget it! I took a break and did not come back for a bit. When I did come back, I was insulted by again by another regular, and the bartender on shift thought it was funny and didn’t do anything about it. He just participated in gossip, and the one regular was so aggressive with me at the bar who also knew John, I didn't even finish my drink. I just paid and left. That time there were some people at the bar who saw what happened, and they felt bad for me that I had to leave. I went back one more time after that. It was ok, but the men that insulted and harassed me the last few times still go here, and the vibe was now very uncomfortable at this point. Who wants to go back after this?! After all this cruel treatment that I received, I decided to email the owner, and I didn’t feel my complaint was taken seriously. Like honestly what happened to me was wrong, it was messed up, and something should have been done about this a long time ago without having to contact the owner. They should have followed up with me to let me know they talked to these people, but they didn’t. The manager on shift should have taken care of it. It should have not gotten to the point to reach the owner, but still no one cared. I hate to write this, but it is true and it needs to be said. Obviously, there is a lot of toxicity, and a strong amount of heterophobia here. I really don’t know why as this is the reason I have decided to write this review to warn others. If most of the staff and regulars at this establishment despise women and strait people that much, put a sign on the front door to least give people a heads up, or make this place a private longe for gay men only. It just makes more sense, don't you think?! From my personal experience, this is not a good environment, or a safe place for a woman to go for a drink, at least for myself. I would recommend to go somewhere else, and just stay away from this bar. It’s not worth it. There are many other great cocktail bars out there! STAY AWAY!!!!!!

We stopped in on a Thursday evening around 9:00 pm. It's a small bar up a short flight of stairs from the street. There were a few groups occupying tabled so we bellied up to the bar. The drinks are mostly all the same price which is is nice and we tried avariety of cocktails. The or old fashioned was really good as was the coffee bean. I found the whisky sour too sour I so I switched to the Amaretto for for my second drink. Our bartender was fun and attentive. A nice place to hang out and imbide for a while.

The best cocktails you will get in Church Street with a such relaxing vibe. The service is very very good, the team will go above and beyond to give you the best service. I kept coming back every night during my trip.
