About Bubu Valencia

Bubu Valencia is a sizeable gay bar serving bears, bigger men, admirers and friends, and is the city’s clearest bear-focused meeting point. The mood is social rather than clubby, with straightforward drinks, a friendly mixed-age crowd and later trading as the weekend approaches. It currently opens Wednesday through Sunday, with Friday and Saturday running until around 03:30. Saturday starts later than other nights, so checking the current schedule before travelling is useful.

Had my first visit to Bubu on 10/09 was greeted by a very nice barman Richard (think he was the owner) started off a little quiet I ordered my beer and was given some popcorn to accompany it, Went back a couple of time ms during my visit especially for Karaoke on Thursday night… Great atmosphere and very welcoming. A great place for the bears 🐻

Must have been a good night for Bubu, it was packed compared to the other gay bars in the area, but €5 for a beer is extortionate. Should really think about lowering the price, to motivate people to buy more.

Great local bear bar, friendly staff, clean bathrooms and music was great! Drinks were a little too strong for my liking but overall had a great night and met some lovely locals and fellow expats.
