Café Lusitano

A pretty fun club. I really enjoyed the drag segments throughout the night, great performer. Lots of pop music and the dance floor can get pretty cramped, fairly good energy in the room. Quite masc codes but like not explicitly. Don't mix up the drink card system. Wine is reasonably priced. The back lounge is smoking so expect the smell etc of that (avoid back half of dance floor and that lounge if you have sensitivities

Worst drag show I ever watched. Had to be seated in a weird horseshoe formation, no one was standing. Withstood the laziest lip syncs imaginable. No ingenuity, no originality. The show was advertised a free, but you are required to spend 10€ at the bar. The bar staff was friendly tho.

A bar that practices racial discrimination in various forms. I have traveled around Europe and visited many bars in Spain, France, and Italy, where I was always welcomed and treated with respect, despite being Arab. When I arrived in Porto, I was looking for a gay bar and found this place. Unfortunately, I was treated very badly by the security guards. After this experience, I think they should change the name of the bar to “Gay Bar for Portuguese People Only”, because it clearly does not seem to be a place for everyone. A very disappointing and discriminatory experience.

Amazing place with a classic environment. I imagine that going to this bar, is like to live a little es the 60's

Total scam - charge you at the end whatever they feel like. I’ve been in loads of gay bar across Europe and this one is defiantly dodgey. 30 euros for a ref bull ?! High prices for totally mediocre place.
