About CC Slaughters
CC Slaughters remains one of Portland’s key LGBTQ+ nightlife institutions after new ownership prevented its planned 2025 closure. The venue pairs a lively dance club with the more relaxed Rainbow Room lounge, then fills the week with drag, queer and trans DJs, piano entertainment, karaoke, amateur performance nights and community fundraisers. It is broad, proudly inclusive and easy to tailor to your mood: cocktails and conversation on one side, full dance-floor energy on the other.
