About CUD

If you're hitting up Paris and craving a wild night, CUD Paris is the spot. Tucked away in Le Marais, this gay dance bar is where the magic happens post-midnight. The vibe? Totally stylish, with a mix of locals and globetrotters all looking to have a good time. Here's the deal: CUD doesn't even start popping until everything else is closing. Think of it as the after-party to your after-party. It's casual, with the real action happening in a cool, vaulted cave beneath the streets. The DJs spin everything from pop to house, and they're all about taking your song requests—just be nice about it. The crowd? Young, fun, and ready to mingle. Drinks might hit your wallet hard, but it's all part of the experience. It's cozy, which means you'll get to know your neighbors. Whether you're there to dance your heart out or meet someone new, CUD's got you covered. It's the kind of place where coats are optional (it gets hot down there) but dancing shoes are a must. Long story short, CUD Paris is where you go to keep the night alive. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's a must-visit for a taste of Paris's vibrant gay nightlife. Just remember to pace yourself—it's a long night ahead.

They refuse to let me in for absolutely no reason. Extremely rude with me and the friends who tried to talk to them. They clearly feel so powerful in abusing their power the way they talk and act to people it's ridiculous. Not sure if it was a racist motivation behind their decision or dress code wise, can't tell since they were just playing God superior complex and not explaining anything. I'm sure there are better clubs than this.

Such a pitiful, miserable place!! Do not go there.Terrible experience. I gave my purse with my passport and all my documents to the cloakroom. Only after taking it did they tell me they accept cash only. I didn’t have cash and asked for my purse back immediately, but they refused. A friend tried to help but only had 9€ and they insisted on 10€. The bar also refused to accept a 1€ card payment, so I was stuck without access to my own belongings. Security was rude and unhelpful. In the end they finally accepted a 1€ card payment so I could get my purse back and leave. Very poor handling of the situation and extremely unprofessional staff. I felt like they had “kidnapped” my affairs, and not only did not return them but made fun of me.

The doorman refused me entry, saying I looked “tired,” even though I was not tipsy or intoxicated. At the same time, the person in front of me, who appeared clearly drunk, was allowed in without issue. The way the rule was applied felt inconsistent, unfair, and discriminatory. I do not recommend this place.

Avoid CUD Club – Especially if You’re Young and Queer. Terrible experience (again). The bouncer was blatantly rude and discriminatory — not the first time I’ve seen this happen. If you’re a younger gay guy just trying to enjoy your night, expect to be judged, rejected, or turned away for no real reason. Feels like the club is only catering to older men and anyone who doesn’t fit that vibe just isn’t welcome. Inside? Overpriced drinks, mediocre quality, and it’s uncomfortably packed. The whole place feels outdated and pretentious. Unless you have a beard and a time machine to age yourself 20 years, don’t bother. Go somewhere else — there are way better places in Paris that are actually inclusive and fun.
