Air conditioned modern kino cinema theatre. We went to see the Phoenician Scheme (excellent movie). The premises are well maintained. Seats recline about 15 degrees, and were a bit squishy and comfy. I recommend booking in advance for new movies or weekend evening shows. Prices are moderate and on par with the local area. The concession stand was brimming with local products and popcorn.

Decent arthouse cinema with reasonable prices (around 10€) and up to date indie offer. They offer screenings in original language both with and without German titles. Picture/sound standard for these mid-size arthouse kinos. As per usual popcorn and drinks are overpriced. Chairs comfortable. Staff friendly. 4 stars - standard quality, nothing wow.

My favorite Arthaus cinema in Stuttgart (the other one's great, too!). Prices are good, seats are great, the staff is super friendly and the concessions selection is great, too. The lobby can get a bit crowded near the starting times, but it's manageable. Also has a few seating spaces just outside the entrance. I love that you can still get paper tickets and I really like the huge old-school sign above the entrance. And if you're into horror movies, the late-night classic horror sneak on Fridays is greatly recommended.
