Dungaree

I went to Dungaree based on the recommendation of Pokapokaya’s owner. It surpassed my expectations. The staff were so warm and welcoming I had to back another night to try the boss’s curry with my cocktail. The prices were reasonable and the small space just made everyone’s laughter feel that much more personable. If you don’t speak Japanese (and do speak English), don’t worry as the staff have different levels of English and will keep joking and chatting with you for your stay. If you do speak Japanese, I think you would have an even better time interacting with the lively customers. Will be back asap next time I am in Osaka.

This spot was hands-down the highlight of my Osaka trip! It's an amazing bar that manages to pair a super fun, welcoming atmosphere with genuinely delicious food. Everyone—from the staff to the other patrons—is incredibly friendly and inclusive. Don't worry about the language barrier; even if you don't speak Japanese, you'll feel totally at home. Do yourself a favor and get the famous No. 1 Curry. Just a friendly warning: it definitely brings the heat! 🌶️ Come for the drinks and hospitality, stay for that fantastic food!

Excellent staff and service! Very cozy place. The drink is perfect too! Had a great time! Will definitely come back again!
