Small quaint bar which is very welcoming to foreigners. Yes the place is very small and can get crowded… we saw people literally standing outside the bathroom as there was no space elsewhere… most of the tables are shared and people are pretty adjusting… Very good quality alcohol at the bar. They could improve their music a bit… it was just playing in the background… I guess it’s more of a meet and chat kind of a place… We went on a Saturday night and it was packed but mostly floating crowd. One could see people coming in for a drink and leaving soon.

The best, most friendly and welcoming gay bar (pub) in Helsinki! The best place to go if you’re alone, easy to chat with people. Very affordable. The beer selection is adequate and the cocktails very tasty. The vibe is unique, chill, warm and accepting, it gets really crowded in the weekends but that’s part of the charm.

I visited Faitytale for the first time last Thursday, and I went back two more times. A cozy and cute atmosphere where you find local people, a great selection of drinks, and good prices. But what made my nights more special was the attentive staff who made me feel at home since the very first time. The environment allows you to meet new people, and the customers are very friendly and receptive. Definitely my favourite bar in Helsinki. Thanks to everyone for making my trip so special! Looking forward to coming back :)

Last night (Saturday night), I revisited again to Pub Fairytale from about 9 PM until midnight, and I really enjoyed it. The pub was busy with a friendly crowd, making it a great place to talk. Lari, the barman, was helpful and nice, making sure everyone felt welcome. There were lots of interesting conversations between the guests, which made it easy to chat with the locals. I had a fantastic evening, surrounded by good company. It’s a lovely place for sharing stories and making new friends, and I look forward to going back again. 😄😄😄 I might return on coming Saturday again!
