Didnt expect to subtlely get bodyshamed by staff in a shop with such a good reputation… hopefully not all staff is like this. Also why have Riot Grrrl books in a Trans friendly shop? Riot Grrl is Terf aligned👍🏻

Extremely comfortable place to do your spicy shopping. Each time i had a question or needed some help, i got a professional but friendly opinion. Once i came over to grab a gift for a friend in a country, where being LGBTQ+ is a crime — when the person behind the counter heard that, they handed me some amazing rebellious stickers for my friend. This story still gets an "awwwh" each time i tell it, and i think it was a great gesture too I also appreciate the choice of the goods in the shop, how things are picked with the attention to the ingredients and sources, and responsible manufacturing. Additionally, the shop has a second floor filled with books — amazing cozy corner to explore I wish there were more events or a community around the shop, bc people there make me go "i wish we were friends!" — but I'm sure it's coming too :) Not to mention that I walk past their window daily as it is a part of my route to the office — and it never fails to make me smile!

Absolutely lovely experience! Knowledgeable and friendly staff person made buying a new thing fun and easy. Fantastic products of all kinds in a stress-free and welcoming space. Fantastic literature selection too! 10/10 recommend. 💜
