A pure German brewery. The beer, the food, the service, everything is exceptional. We stopped to drink a beer, two and left after 23 beers. 🤣🤣 After a Fuchsen, there's no way we can't drink another one and another one and another one. We couldn't avoid the location's fried knuckle either. Beer ice cream is something extraordinary. The waiter was very nice and funny, we asked for 6 beers at once and jokingly told us that he would leave us 3 and he would come later with cold ones. It was an exceptional recommendation from my friend to stop here. I will definitely come back when I am in Dusseldorf again.

The local colleague brought us here during lunch and we arrived almost 1PM, and the restaurent was still crowded which was a good sign. We had the pork knuckle, fish fillets (house speical of the day), and stewed beef. The pork knuckle was very crispy outside (well a bit too crunchy for me), but I liked the fish fillets and smashed potato side dishes. The sauce for the beef was too salty for me. Also local afri cola wasn't alike classic coke cola at all which was pretty special and not bad as I had this for the first time. Overall it's a nice and authentic dining place with great atmosphere and the service was great too!

Fantastic service, super friendly staff, delicious beer (the best we had in Dusseldorf or Cologne) - and it just keeps coming. The food was excellently cooked. We were there in time for white asparagus season and we were recommended the pork shoulder which was much brilliant.

What a brilliant traditional bar. I came here by myself and it also happened to be a part of a brewery tour I did a day later! I had an amazing currywurst and staff were very attentive and friendly considering how busy it was (visited on a Saturday afternoon). I would definitely recommend a visit if you’re coming to Düsseldorf.

This is an historic building! We got there before the crowds on Saturday and were able to have a good look of the place. Pea soup was the best I’ve had! Hearty & delicious. Currywurst was very delicious too! The other sausage was yummy with a better than expected potato salad! Restrooms/toilets were super clean. House beer was an amber ale or brown lager. They also have other types of beer. If you are in Düsseldorf, this is worth checking out. We all enjoyed great beers & great food in an old brewery 🤩 That experience was 5-star
