Don’t understand the new management vision of this club and everyone who used to go there confirm it’s gone downhill since new management. The “kitchen” room looks horrible, completely uninviting, too bright. The door staff won’t let you in anymore if you are by yourself, just not the place it used to be. More straight than gay.

I'm a tourist, traveling alone. And I heard that the place is a cool bar. When I got to the entrance, the security guard was super ignorant and said I couldn't go in alone. I explained that I wasn't from here, and he still kept yelling at me. I left the line and went to buy some water next door and saw the same security guard taking pictures of me, I didn't understand why, but I see that it's not a friendly place for gay tourists

I’ve been going to gbar for 23 years and seen it go through all its different music policies. Met friends for life and become friendly with all it’s LEGENDARY DJ’s who are down to earth and so knowledgeable about music. It is consistently the best after hours house club in the UK and I’ve been to a fair few! The staff work hard to keep it relevant. It might not be as exclusive as it was back in the day but it has to make a shilling. Times move on so do businesses. Hopefully more good times ahead. Keep on moving! ☺️😉
