London Trans+ Pride draws record turnout of around 100,000

Organisers of London Trans+ Pride said around 100,000 people joined the 2025 march through central London, a substantial increase on the roughly 60,000 people reported at the previous year's event.

The march began near BBC Broadcasting House and continued through central London to Parliament Square. Speakers included actor Yasmin Finney and campaigner Caroline Litman. Organisers described the turnout as the largest Trans Pride event held to date.

The 2025 event used the theme “existence and resistance”. Organisers and participants said the march carried particular significance following the UK Supreme Court's April 2025 judgment on the meaning of sex in the Equality Act 2010, which had prompted renewed public debate about how the law should apply to trans people.

London Trans+ Pride has grown rapidly since its launch, with the annual event combining celebration, community visibility and campaigning around trans rights and safety.
