About Kween

Kween is an LGBTQ+ cocktail lounge and kitchen on 30th Avenue in Astoria, Queens. The venue combines a neighbourhood restaurant and bar with drag entertainment, weekend brunches and late-night socialising. Craft cocktails are an important part of the experience, supported by a food menu available throughout the afternoon and evening. During the week, Kween opens for drinks and dinner, while weekends begin earlier with brunch service. The venue is particularly well known for its Saturday and Sunday drag brunches, which run in multiple sittings and combine food, drinks and live performance. Kween’s drag-brunch programme received a 2026 Glam Award, making it a notable destination for visitors seeking organised daytime LGBTQ+ entertainment rather than only late-night nightlife. Later in the evening, the atmosphere transitions from dining and cocktails towards a busier bar experience. Kween also offers food and drinks packages for birthdays, private parties and other group events. Reservations are advisable for drag brunch and special occasions. Check the official website for current menus, performance times and booking availability.

Very vibrant atmosphere that will make anyone want to come hang out for a good time and go for Kareoke night when it comes around. The audience is eclectic and comes with a welcoming stay. The Caipirinhas were not great however and needs a lot of work in comparison to places that serve this drink. The margarita however was better and made a difference. Will consider this place in the future.

Went here in May 2025 for a drag brunch with my husband and my mom who was visiting from out of town and hadn’t seen a proper drag show. The staff was understanding that we were a little late for our reservation but still got a great table! The queens were entertaining and friendly. Food was great!

Emilio took such good care of us. Such a warm and friendly place. Food is amazing, drinks are amazing and the service is amazing. What more can you ask for? I’ve come here with friends, family, and significant others and everyone I’ve come here with absolutely love every aspect of the experience. Recommend to everyone.

Two weekends back to back I felt like Royalty @ Kween. My first introduction to the Royal court was on a Saturday. A party of six, we decided to stop in for few cocktails after a less then memorable brunch at an overpriced and unseasoned place in the city. We had such an enjoyable moment, we decided to return the following Sunday for a proper brunch seasoned with the right amount of Drag. Sunday's Drag Brunch is offered @1pm & 3pm. We decided on 3pm for our slightly smaller party of 4. Drinks were nice & stiff, food was tasty and the show was spicy! We had such an enjoyable time it more then made up for the previous weekend. The entertainers definitely entertained and the staff was efficient and gracious. Since we were celebrating the approaching nuptials of a very good friend. The staff allowed me to bring sweet treats that they enjoyed with us. Just A Note: Don't miss the Royal seat in the back, great photo moment.
