About
Klub 21 is one of Prague’s hidden gems in the heart of the gay district, Vinohrady. Tucked away in a basement, this cozy spot offers an intimate and welcoming vibe. As you enter through a courtyard, buzz at the door, and descend into the vaulted brick cellar, you’ll feel like you’ve discovered a secret hangout. The rustic, cave-like interior is adorned with local artwork, creating a charming backdrop for casual drinks and chats.
Known for its affordable beers, including local brews like Gambrinus, Klub 21 attracts a loyal crowd of locals and in-the-know visitors. The atmosphere is laid-back but social, making it easy to strike up conversations with fellow patrons. It’s a no-frills spot, but its unpretentious charm and friendly staff make it feel like a home away from home.
While not a rowdy party venue, it’s perfect for those who enjoy low-key evenings with friends. The lack of loud music allows for more intimate conversations, making it a favorite spot to wind down after a long day. Whether you’re a Prague local or just passing through, Klub 21 is a must-visit for a chilled night out.
Love the design of this place and the music being played. Best bar from a gay men’s comfort level on our tour of Budapest, Vienna and Prague. I wish it was men only and had some dark rooms. Loving our time in Prague and this place is the best vibe place.
It was quite a quick visit, the bar is interesting, when you arrive you have to ring a Bell so they let you in, since they door is inside a building, then you have to go down a cellar that is quite big, with some interesting lights, and some electro/pop music. The bartender was welcoming, but there were only 3 guys including the bartender, which i guess is normal on Thursday at 21.30. upon finishing our drinks the guy asked if we wanted something more and gave us time to decide. Anyhow and interesting bar, but maybe later at night
Love the speakeasy, cellar vibe with brick encasing. Great environment, but not friendliest for Foreigner. Asked to sit down coldly as soon as the bartender found out that I spoke English. Three people total in the bar. Drinks are cheap and good. Was told had to leave around 12:45 with no warning of last call… the friendliest interaction with the bartender was when I tipped him 👀. Would probably be a great bar for local or those whom speak Czech
this is the BEST entrance experience i’ve ever had 😂 it does seem a little sketch at first but trust me it’s a great bar! just press the buzzer to be let in and keep walking and it’s immediately on the left once you are outside again. Bar is in a basement— super fun and great chill vibes. This is pretty much a gay speakeazy
