Spartakus Sauna & Fitness is a must-visit for anyone exploring Krakow’s LGBTQ+ scene. Located at ul. Konopnickiej 20, this spot is the only gay sauna in the city and has been a staple in the community since 1991. Spartakus offers a full range of facilities, including a Finnish sauna, a steam room, and even a gym for those looking to combine fitness with relaxation. There’s also a rooftop sun terrace, perfect for catching some rays in the warmer months.
What makes Spartakus stand out is its laid-back vibe and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're there for the hot saunas or just chilling in the bar and café, it's all about relaxing and unwinding. For an extra treat, you can book a full-body massage with their in-house masseur, Maciek, who’s known to work wonders on tired muscles.
The venue’s cleanliness and professionalism get high marks from both locals and tourists alike, and with affordable prices (around 33 PLN), it’s a budget-friendly option compared to Western Europe’s saunas. While the crowd is often a mix of locals and visitors, the place tends to be busiest in the evenings, especially around 6pm.
So if you’re in Krakow and looking for a comfortable and discreet men-only venue, Spartakus won’t disappoint!
Extremely disappointing experience with the receptionist. From the moment I arrived, it was clear he was completely unprepared and rude. There was a blatant lack of courtesy and willingness to assist, making it obvious that good customer service is not a priority here. Instead of solving issues, the receptionist seemed more focused on creating them. Communication was arrogant and unprofessional, which completely ruined my first impression of the place. A reception should be welcoming and efficient, but this was the exact opposite. I do not recommend this place, and I sincerely hope the company addresses this with proper training and corrective action for their staff.
I was there on 16th August and I really like it. This place is amazing. You can meet new people and relax. I met a very nice guy from the Philippines. Unfortynetly we didn't stay in touch. But U can find me on Instagram: duzy_kotek
Small sauna with a reasonable entry price and is quite clean and well maintained. I went on a weekday afternoon and there were about 20 guys of different ages there.Unfortunately as a tourist and first time visitor I didn't feel welcome here, either by the staff or mainly local clientele. I stayed around ninety minutes then left as it felt awkward being in such an unfriendly atmosphere.
Typical gay sauna. And only gay sauna in Cracow.Pretty nice space for chilling in steam room, dry sauna and cool room.Nice roof terrace and bar. There should be more resting space as it was before. But good enough to be honest.
