About The Liverpool Arms

The Liverpool Arms, usually shortened to the LA, is one of Chester’s best-known LGBTQ+-popular pubs. It has the feel of a friendly local rather than a nightclub, with craft beer, gin and coffee alongside drag shows, live music and open-mic nights. The crowd is welcoming and mixed, and the pub works just as well for a daytime drink as an entertainment night. Returned after 6-7 years. Big changes (interior design) happened, looks great. If you do a walls walk, this place is great to pop in a pint or two. Lovely people in this gay/ -gay friendly (?!) pub. All ages are welcome. Beers, short drinks on site. Plenty of tables, chairs. Bingo, DJ and many other activities are welcome the guests. By North Gate. Definitely worth a visit!

Such a lovely welcoming space. Amazing, kind and friendly bar tenders who made us feel comfortable and part of the wonderful community atmosphere they have created. Great music, great crowd and amazing memories created. Thank you for your hospitality 🫶🤗
