Positives: Sundays are great with live music and free bbq in the summer. Owner is friendly and the vibe was fun. Negatives: Came on Saturday happy hour and found the bartender inattentive. He just sat chatting to one person and didn’t check if we needed any drinks so we left after one. Found him unfriendly and cold. Been coming to NYC for many years and always find a warm welcome wherever we go. Probably won’t be back here.

I LOVE the Phoenix! Great servers, great drinks, great music, and great fun!! I hosted my birthday party at the Phoenix and the vibes were wonderful. Everyone was super kind and welcoming. The owners are lovely to work with and are super accommodating. If you’re in the east village, you should stop by!

LOVED IT! The servers were incredible and the atmosphere was extremely welcoming. One of the servers (Liam I believe) was great and was very sweet because it was my birthday! And the other server (I didn't catch his name) was very attentive and charged my phone for me while it was at 9%. I'm from out of town and if I ever come back I plan to visit here first! If you're queer or even want to just drink with a nice vibe, this is DEFINITELY the place!

Bartender was snippy and seemed annoyed at the slightest question. Never asked if I wanted a tab started, just assumed all 3 people in my party were on one tab and then was very unhelpful in figuring out our confusion. He also disappeared for 15-20 minutes after we ordered our first drink, leaving us completely alone in the bar. Their ATM also wasn't working, so the 20 dollar card minimum was an obstacle when we decided "wow this bar sucks, lets leave" after our second drink.

Cute gay queer spot to attend to. Noise levels arent too bad and they generally have nice events with good music selection. Prices are average with a good atmosphere but it can get a little crowded on event times. Good spot to take a group though!
