Came on Thursday night for the first show, Jasmine Live, and had such a great time. One of the best things we did in NYC. Also funny, and great with the audience interaction. Happy hour runs until 8pm. Show ended up starting around 9, but we were happy to have such great seats and have a drink beforehand. Show itself was free, but don't forget to bring dollar bills for tipping the queens.

I've been a regular at Pieces for around 13 years. It's been my go-to bar in the city when I come for some fun. Drag bingo is especially entertaining - Chaka Khanvict is hilarious and you can't get better entertainment in the city. The bar staff are great and deliver drinks quickly (speed is relative depending on how crowded it is) and prices are comparable to the area, and even cheaper during Happy Hour.

Honestly, if it wasn’t for my boyfriend, I probably wouldn’t have even entered this place. The security guard at the entrance was extremely unpleasant, rude, and angry, and honestly made me want to leave immediately. The show itself was pretty good, the service was also nice, and there was a friendly atmosphere inside. However, the man at the entrance with the gold teeth was such a negative first impression. Someone like that can easily turn away potential customers before they even get a chance to experience the venue. I’m not sure if I’ll come back, simply because I don’t want to have that same experience at the entrance again. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this one was very disappointing.

We have always loved pieces, fun atmosphere and great service. But the inflation prices are really hitting this bar. A surfside was $16 and that somehow doesnt feel right. Order a beer or a well drink when you are here.

Used to like Pieces, but they now apparently take a photo of everyone who enters. Was also told I needed to dump my water out of my water bottle if I wanted to enter, in the middle of summer. Find a gay bar that welcomes you instead of whatever this place has become. *Update* Not every business is recording you everywhere you go, that's objectively not true. Vaguely saying something is for security is suspicious. How is this keeping people safe? What is happening to the photos and data you are collecting? And the restaurant comparison makes no sense. Every place allows you to bring water in - it's water. A pretty important thing!
