Racist sh*t on the door. Tall guy with no manners, just declined the entrance of our friends, obviously just because he didn't like their faces, (someone more suspicious would say "because they are black"), while at the same time people were buying tickets inside. No racism should be tolerated in raves.

Was kicked out for asking if there was any change at the bar I was at. I have no problem with the establishment and honestly this is the first issue I’ve had but because it’s so extreme I’m mentioning it here. I’ve had many nights at this location that were simply fantastic. I’m hesitant to say maybe that blonde manager was just having a bad day. I don’t like to talk bad about people. I know we all go through our own circumstances in life. This however really struck a chord with me and so I’m writing my experience here. *edited to fit* Edit in response to Proton the Club #1: I went to the middle bar to return my bottle and exchange my token. The bartender took the pfand but did not commit to the exchange with my token. I proceeded to ask why they had not accepted it asking, "Is it due to lack of change?" I did not hear their response, and upon attempting to ask again I was further ignored. (It's a loud environment and I was speaking a mix of english and rough german. I don't blame the bartender for not trying with those circumstances in mind) And so, I went to another bartender who I had a much easier time communicating with, but they said they could not assist me because I did not have my pfand (the one I turned in earlier). I then went back to the first bartender to try and communicate via google translate, and was further ignored until the woman who I presume is the manager came to assist the bartender with some task or another. I began by getting their attention and showing her my question using the translator app. I could not hear what she was saying. This back and forth didn't go on long before she directed me to the foyer where it was much quieter yes, but still an environment where you had to speak loudly. She asked me, " Can you hear me now?" and I replied "Yeah, much better" and laughed. It was this point she directed me to leave the club and shortly thereafter I was escorted out. Where did you percieve rudeness in my actions? I stepped away when other customers were trying to order drinks throughout the ordeal. I either politely said "Entschuldigung!" or waved to get the attention of who I was speaking to. I digressed and tried a translator app to speak in the native language to make it easier for whomever I was addressing. I laughed reflexively, something I do, to ease tension and just destress. People tend to laugh in stressful situations. Even after I apologized for it and tried to assuage the misunderstanding you insisted my laugh was mocking you, and that I was lying when saying I was struggling to hear you in all the noise. There was no argument on my side. The entire time I was just trying to ask if they had change or not. I went to another bartender before you arrived and they told me they couldn't accept the token without the pfand. I've been there enough times to understand how the deposit system works, I just wanted to know what changed. Benefit of the doubt, maybe you had a bad day, week, or month that just led you to approach that conversation from a distressed mindset. I would prefer not to think you reserve your "respect and patience" for only certain types of guests. Response to Proton the Club #2: Yes, I disclosed to you that I have hearing problems. I neither said nor implied it was an issue I have had since birth. Who are you to call someone a liar, as if you know their medical history. Let's rewind for a bit. What if someone came to you with a more serious question like their friend was OD'ing or worse. Is your first move going to be to not even listen to what they're asking you and just discredit them simply on the basis that you're sober and they're not? Is this how you treat people who come to you with honest questions? Is it so hard to admit you misunderstood and just apologize? Kindness costs nothing, but by doubling down you have made it clear what kind of person you are, and how you "manage" the establishment. Genuinely hope you can do better for the safety and well being of everyone else who chooses to enjoy this club, but rest assured that will no longer include myself.

If you’re Black and American, you won’t be getting in this club, and the bouncers, if they will chat with you, will make up all types of excuses not to let you in. I’ve been to top- notch clubs in different states and other countries; and never had to deal with this bs. Glad I don’t live here; I can’t wait to go back home.
