About Replay Lakeview

Replay Lakeview is an LGBTQ+ arcade bar on North Halsted Street in Chicago’s Northalsted nightlife district. Formerly widely known as Replay Beer & Bourbon, it combines the atmosphere of a casual gay neighbourhood bar with classic arcade gaming and a busy programme of weekly events. Most of the venue’s retro arcade games are free to play, although selected attractions—including pinball, darts and Mario Kart—require payment. The drinks menu includes rotating craft beers, seasonal cocktails and a substantial selection of bourbon and whiskey. Regular entertainment includes Mario Kart competitions, Super Smash Bros tournaments, karaoke, trivia, DJs and themed queer parties. The atmosphere is generally relaxed earlier in the day and becomes livelier during evening events and major Northalsted weekends. A rear patio provides additional space for drinks, games and socialising. Replay can also host birthdays, group celebrations and private events. Great bar with retro games that are free to play. Some pinball and premium games like Mario kart were pay to play so be aware of that. They have daily specials and the drinks are all very affordable. Very friendly bartenders as well!

Replay is my go to neighborhood bar. Im here once or twice a week for the game tournaments on Monday and Tueaday, or trivia on Thursday, or juat haging with my friends. The staff is fun and the service is good. They have a well stocked bar with 20 beers on tap and house cocktails and frozen drinks. They do get busy on the weekend, but the music is good and I never wait long for a drink.

This is a cute spot to either start or go after going down the street to the clubs in the neighborhood. Retro arcade games you can play! Some of the male bartenders were rude (the white female barista working the back patio area was very nice!). The free popcorn was FIRE!
