Not recommended for standard sauna relaxation due to operational issues, but worth trying once for the antique charm if you’re after something experiential.

It's a very small venue, in comparison to Thermas, but they don't really compare at all. The guy at reception was very friendly on arrival to be fair to him, and explained about how it all worked. We were there around 4/4.30pm on a Friday afternoon, it wasn't very busy. It wasn't really our scene, seemed more like a place for regulars to meet in a relaxed social scene, which is still cool.

I'll begin by saying that the staff are lovely: friendly and helpful. I was not there long, though. I can't comment on cleanliness because there was incense burning as well as three people smoking indoors when I left, and Portuguese cigarettes smell very strong. Is smoking indoors still a thing?

Visited this facility recently. Great decor, feels like a nice bar. Enjoyed the steam room and sauna which was clean. They had people of all ages, no attitude at all. Had a great time. I highly recommend it. Person working at the reception was very helpful.

It's not the best sauna, specially in a country which is extremely conservative and not a "gay" vacation destination at all, but it was good and worth my visit. Crowd of all ages, but mostly men 40yo plus. It's a small sauna and very clean. It just needs to be a bit more warm heated inside on the hallways and cabins, higher temp in both sauna rooms, specially with the cold winter temps outside. I met 5 guys there for fun (separately) and had a blast. I recommend this sauna!
