Saunabar Bournemouth

I’ve been to numerous Swingers events at this venue. Can honestly say that it’s one of my favourite places to go. The place is always spotlessly clean, staff are really friendly and above all they make me feel safe. Would highly recommend this venue to both anyone new to the scene and to experienced swingers.

Only three stars due to the masseur who was working today, 11th January. He obviously hates his job and can't be bothered to engage with his clients. I just asked a simple question, with a smile and hello, to see if he was booked up for the afternoon. Told bluntly to ask reception. No acknowledgement, no smile, nothing. Face then back down into phone. His 4pm appointment approached him at 2 minutes to 4pm and said he'd be a couple of minutes. Masseur barely acknowledged the poor guy, and returned to his phone. 4pm client then sits waiting until 8 minutes past 4 and then has to approach masseur again to start his massage. Why wasn't masseur waiting in his room ready for his client? Rude, unessecary behaviour. I didn't book my hour for 5pm, as he doesn't deserve any custom. Shame for Saunabar to have him associated with a friendly, welcoming space.

I had a very disappointing experience at Saunabar Bournemouth during their Swinger Night. The event was advertised as welcoming and judgment-free, but that was not my experience at all. One female staff member behaved extremely unprofessionally and spoke to me in a disrespectful and humiliating way in front of others. I felt singled out and, honestly, the interaction came across as discriminatory. Because of this, I left immediately. No one should feel uncomfortable or disrespected in a place that promotes inclusivity. I would not recommend this venue based on my experience.

I found staff and clientele friendly and courteous. In addition the venue though small was relatively clean, with an interior makeover since I lasted visited many years ago. Thanks for a pleasant visit.

We went to Swingers nights every week throughout 2025 so we know the place well. While it started ok, although empty for the first part of the year, it picked up during the summer. The bar staff were rude to new customers and rules were constantly changing depending on the mood of the staff. Friends were scolded like naughty children for kissing in the bar area fully clothed. Half naked pictures were taken of us on mobile phones and later sent to us and nothing was done to punish those taking the pictures. Ultimately a horrible place that we would advise to stay clear of and to top it off the music taste is awful, the same tracks on repeat for 4 hours, rinse and repeat every week.
