About Scandals East

Scandals East carries the spirit of Portland’s long-running Scandals bar into a new Alberta Street home. The refreshed venue operates as an all-ages restaurant during early dinner hours before becoming a 21+ queer bar, with cocktails, karaoke, Drag Race viewing, live music, art and community fundraisers in the mix. A large outdoor seating area and stage give the new space room to grow beyond the old downtown format. It feels rooted in history without being trapped by it—a genuine relaunch rather than a simple relocation.

What to expect

An LGBTQ+ restaurant and bar with early all-ages dining, later 21+ service, outdoor events, drag, karaoke and live music.
