About The Sun Hotel

The Sun Hotel is Bradford’s longest-standing dedicated LGBTQ+ bar and the city’s main permanent queer night out. Entertainment includes drag DJs and performers, karaoke, music bingo and games, with a relaxed local-pub atmosphere early on and more energy later. The current programme is concentrated from Thursday to Sunday rather than every day. Each night has a different feel, so check the venue’s Instagram before travelling—especially if you want a particular drag act or event.

Wee Scottish troop were in on Saturday night. I was celebrating my 60th. What an amazing night. Love love this place and the staff were amazing. Cherio but we’ll be back if we are ever in Bradford again. LOVE YOU 🥰

A nice warm welcome from the staff/drag and doorman. It was a karaoke night and not busy, I just arrived at 9.30pm but perhaps it will pick up later. I stopped for one drink and very cheap. Perhaps it was quieter as it’s a Thursday???. Would return
