About Superstar Boudoir

Superstar Boudoir is one of the Pride Quarter’s reliably lively late bars, sitting right on Stanley Street and opening every night of the week. Drag hosts, guest cabaret and DJs keep the focus on pop, throwbacks, singalongs and a dancefloor that does not take itself too seriously. Entry is currently free, and the venue runs latest on Friday and Saturday. Weekly themes and performers change regularly, so it is worth checking the latest social posts if you are coming for a particular queen or cabaret set.

The House of a Thousand Sins

We cl8mbed the stairs, while doing so got pushed past by work men who are apparently regulars, not sure why you would push people into a wall to enter a place they are entering. When we got inside it just stunk of stale urine! My nostrils were burning as the smell got worse the closer to the bar you got.

The door was open, we walked in, and before we could even look around, someone asked us to leave because it was a private party... and, believe it or not, for straight people. A gay man being kicked out of a gay bar because of a party for straight people. Surreal.

Loud and cheap, but not the prices, just the vibe and experience. I would possibly go there again if someone wanted to go for some reason, but there are better places.
