So, this is my 1st time coming to the bush for anything and probably my last. So, let's start at the karaoke.I came to see if this would be an enjoyable event and it wasn't per say. The bartender was very nice. I feel sorry I don't remember her name. But, the hosts 1 in particular seemed to be a little beyond tipsy and out of sorts. Very unprofessional. They didn't go in order for the karaoke list .They made us give them our songs on an iPhone. They selected which songs went next not the order on the phone. I was there for 2.5 hours and my song was never called. When I went to let them know I was going to leave one person said "oh you made that choice". It felt very clique like if you knew the host or come here often you were good but if you were new you were waiting if ever going to sing. They can forget about me coming there again. You would think as a person of color and LGBT there would be some respect across the board but still there is segregation even in a lesbian bar. I don't want to give 1 star to the bar the event Def a 2 star experience.

Love this place! I’ve been coming here since it’s opened. The bartenders are super sweet and welcoming. The atmosphere creates a safe space for queer women and they have TONS of events every week! I Always recommend this bar to friends and co workers. Shoutout to the bartender Fear she’s super sweet and makes great drinks

The drinks were amazing and the bar service was personable and attentive. I sang a little karaoke. Fear mixed some delicious drinks and based on our conversation also connected me to resources for top surgery after care. The crowd that gathered was gorgeous. I’m so glad I stopped in.

The Bush has been a wonderful experience every time I've had the pleasure to visit. My favorite part of the experience has been the wonderful staff. They're knowledgeable, charismatic, and incredibly friendly! The vibes are immaculate especially when there's an event involving live music. It gets incredibly busy sometimes, but the staff is a well oiled machine! The highest of recommendations for anyone looking for a fun, safe, and friendly lesbian bar in the epicenter of Bushwick.

I came last Friday night (5/29) and the bartender auto-tipped themselves 30%. I paid $29 for two drinks and they tipped themselves $9.74. Really inconsiderate behavior especially from a bar in our own community. I normally enjoy the vibe here but I'm reconsidering coming here again.
