I didn't eat here, but everything else was brilliant. The drinks were reasonable and the entertainment was really good fun. I used to live in Nottingham 20 years ago. This pub made me feel like had come home.

It was very stylish and unique bar. The interior inside was stunning and once you go in you will find the terrace area and they have undergroud area for some performance. The bartenders were friendly and they served us fast as they were fast response when there was some one was not served. Really love this place and highly recommend it.

This is a superb pub. The elegant decor is a delight and there is astonishing attention to detail. There are well-kept and interesting cask ales and the staff are welcoming. It seems to attract an eclectic clientele of arty and interesting people.

Absolutely wonderful pub with an excellent outdoor area and general vibe!! However when we went the other night there was an altercation at the bar and while the staff handled it in a wonderfully professional manner, myself and some other patrons felt their safety would’ve improved if there was a bouncer there - hope this changes to staff aren’t putting themselves at risk!! Xx

This is a nice, stylish, very well maintained and looked-after pub. It is, to coin a phase, a ‘hidden gem’, planted as it is, right in the centre of Nottingham. I popped in for a drink so I didn’t sample the food on this occasion. I turned up at 1830 (the time, not the year) on a Monday, so it was decidedly sleepy, but bear in mind that the night was really very young (unlike most of the clientele, including, sadly, my good self). However, by 1930, it was really beginning to get quite full: it’s obviously (justifiably) a popular venue. The person who served me was welcoming, pleasant and efficient. Highly recommended for a laid-back and pleasant evening in the centre of things. TOP TIP: exercise some caution when planning to visit towards the weekend when it gets busier and more challenging’.
