The Wickham

Came here for the first time recently. Was an enjoyable afternoon of drag shows, music and dancing with friends. Been a few more times since my original review. Have had some food now too. Decent quality and value. However I can't raise my review any higher than 4 stars with the bathroom situation. Always long waits at busy events, with some out of order cubicles at the moment and many others having various types of repair needs. While this is unfortunately common in venues in the area its still a detractor. More urinals may eleviate some of the wait time, or potentially some major renovations to combine and reformat the 2 all gender bathrooms that are side by side and divided by a wall to fit in more cubicles in a more spacewise way.

This is such a beautiful spot to hang and chill out. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The food is also so good as well as the drinks, they just hit the spot.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was my first time at the Wickham Hotel, and I had such a great experience! The atmosphere was amazing, and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. A special mention to KC, one of the security staff. She was incredibly professional, friendly, and always had a smile on her face. It was lovely meeting her—she really stood out and made a great impression. I'll definitely be back and would highly recommend the Wickham Hotel to anyone looking for a great night out in Brisbane!

The steak MELTED in my mouth it was so delicious. I also brought my dog and the staff treated him so nicely. I ordered him the meatballs off the puppy menu and he loved it! Such a beautiful little pub

J from the start was the cutest, they were so so lovely and friendly. The service they provided was so heartwarming, I felt so safe and that I was in the right spot. Their chat and conversations were beautifully genuine and heartfelt, it was like I was talking to a family friend. They were so understanding and accommodating when one of the members of my group was a bit intense and offered support and genuine concern. I have always loved coming to the Wickham but after my experience tonight, I want to come back more if I am being served by J. I would recommend this place 100000x times more after my experience tonight because of J

Disclaimer: I've only been here twice. And only for the Pub Quiz on Thursday nights. That being said, they were 2 of my favorite and most memorable nights...

Now, this pub was really cool. It is basically one of those inner-city pubs that I absolutely adore. Honestly, I'm not even sure if I can actually fault...

Great place to meet friends have a nice meal and just relax. A long standing gay friendly venue which my partner and I always enjoy.
