The Yard Coventry

Great place to have a quick drink or to take the whole family to eat and drink. The food is amazing and the staff are great 👍 people who are ready to help and to serve. I recommend the cocktail 🍸 they have an amazing range and also do alcohol free as well. Lots of seating indoors and outside Clean environment. The prices are competitive with other businesses within the area. Unfortunately no parking due to being in the city centre. Great place to go I fully endorse this business.

We were a bit nervous of what the food was going to be like at first - our 1st visit to Coventry + this venue and everything was SO sticky … our shoes were sticking to the floor with every step, the bar was sticky and the table was sticky (surprised no other reviews mentioned this!? Surely not a one off thing? )… BUT we were delighted as the food was DELICIOUS… best we’ve had in a really long time! Looked extremely presentable too… had to take a picture !

Firstly, I must admit I haven't visited this venue since it moved locations, Not being local, but I can assure you it was worth the wait. The new location is absolutely stunning—spacious, with two floors, a dancefloor, a rooftop terrace, and outdoor seating perfect for a sunny summer day like today. The atmosphere is both safe and inclusive, attracting a great mix of customers. What truly sets this venue apart, however, are the staff. Adelaide was incredibly friendly, chatty, and helpful, making us feel truly welcomed. Sarah, who was behind the bar, had a lovely friendly personality and a great sense of humour (and I'm glad neither of us are fans of champagne—she'll know what I mean). The food was simply amazing. We ordered the Vegetarian Pie Sunday dinner and extras which were cooked to perfection and had that proper home-cooked feel. It was refreshing not to be offered the usual veggie Wellington that most pubs serve for veggie Sunday dinners. Each dish was expertly prepared and offered great value for money. The chefs were Chris & Georgia. We had such a wonderful experience that we're already planning to return next week even though we are not local. If you're local or visiting Coventry, please support this venue. It's places like this that we need to keep open.

Wow 1st time here. Definitely won’t be last. Moment walked in received warm welcoming smile. Ordered roast beef and roasted cauliflower. Shouldn’t really admit it but was better than mums. Everything was cooked to perfection by Jodie and Stuart. amazing service by Addie and rest team

Good food, great portions good price! Excellent environment very clean and friendly very welcoming to any background! Very allergy aware in all the eating places never had any place check as much; Adelaide and Damon very courteous and helpful! worth the visit.
