About Central Station

Central Station in Kings Cross is basically your cool, friendly neighborhood spot that's got a bit of everything. It's a big hit with the LGBTQ+ crowd, and for good reason. They've spruced up the place, so it's not just a bar but a whole vibe. Think day-to-night transformation – serving the office folks by day with great grub and drinks, and then switching gears to a more party-like atmosphere for the evening crowd. What's cool about Central Station? Well, first up, it's got this smart-casual thing going, so you can drop in without needing to dress to the nines. It's all about dancing and having a good time. And let's not forget the new roof terrace – it's like this sweet spot for chilling under the stars with a drink in hand. Sure, there's some chatter about the rooms not being top-notch, but hey, that's not really the main draw here. People come for the lively bar scene, the friendly staff, and the inclusive vibe. It's like this little gem in London for both the locals and tourists who are looking for a place where they can just be themselves and enjoy the night. So, if you're around Kings Cross and looking for a spot that's got a good mix of daytime chill and nighttime buzz, Central Station is worth checking out,

Can't say about rooms. Service was adequate. Location is good just near transport links. Sweet Wednesday is the main draw for me. Good vibes previously. Nowadays there are a few working girls here, that's killed it. Also so much racism it's unreal. Regulars are stars however I experienced some words and behaviour which the proprietor cannot be responsible for or eradicate. Not all nights are the same some days are good, many are bad. Think about other places you can go to as a backup if your night turns sour.

Pretty basic hotel with a decent location, very quiet despite being a 5min walk from Kings X. If I was doing a weekend trip I would come again. Finding it was a bit of a mission though. I got there early, finding there was no signage on the building and whole place was locked up, so I wasn't sure if I was even at the right place. I also wasn't able to get hold of anyone at that time. I came back a few hours later and everything was open. The room was fine; a single bed with a shared bathroom, all you need if you're out and about all day. It was absolutely sweltering though, I needed to wedge the window open overnight otherwise it got uncomfortably hot. Checking out was easy enough, just popped my keys into the box and off I went with my day.

One extremly rude bar person who was working last night at Sweet Wednesday. He is so rude that he needs to be fired with immediate effect. There was an incident where he was constantly raising his voice. If you are going to employ people like this you will lose clients. The other member a girl was lovely.

Night out at the bar, no input about other services provided. Nice bar, friendly staff, beautiful quiet terrace at the top.
