Centre Stage

Our day in Copenhagen was cold and rainy… then we popped into Centre Stage and our day was instantly better. Incredible drinks, talented and personable bartender, Dean, took great care to make our visit perfect. Absolutely the best time! Welcoming and even the karaoke was fun! Everyone supported everyone.

First time in this bar. Arrived at 12.30 PM, the place quite full, the space is upstairs by few steps. Like a long and a bit large. Small tables with armchairs in one side along the wall and at the other side, the long bar. Decoration is pretty with chandeliers. Glassware is beautiful like in a British club. Once at the counter, you can see these quite beautiful bartenders (the greek one the best) are quite busy and not enough. They always stay at the begin of the bar, so if you are positioned at the end, th wait is considerable, maybe add a 3rd barman? Surrounded by danish 90%. No one smile, have a look or speak with you but at the end a nice big bloke start exchange with my pal and me. This time I got a nice beer more expensive than the draught I got in the previous bar. A large group of norway business men arrived, the ambiance started to take place. I couldn't stay longer because had a flight back home the morning after. Next time I will surely pop in again

I visited Copenhagen and wanted to explore the gay bar scene to see what is was like in Denmark. When I visited Centre Stage, I came on a quiet night but the owner Morten was exceptionally kind and chatty, playing the perfect host and making me feel welcomed. When I went back the next night the vibe was more lively with a live drag show, but certainly not overwhelming and the owner and bartender still found time to speak to customers and converse in a friendly manner. Morten was an amazing and lovely host and knowledgeable about things to do around the city as well if anyone needs recommendations. I hope I will be able to visit again!

Such a great place for a Sunday night wind down! Morton was such a great and wonderful bartender! It was a slow night, but he kept us entertained. My friends and I had such a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back Tuesday night for Karaoke night!!!

Visiting from Dallas TX. Had an absolutely fantastic time here with my husband and a girlfriend of ours! Everyone is super welcoming the drinks are good and the karaoke makes the night!! We love Copenhagen and will be back here next time we’re back!
