About Cherry's Bar

Cherry’s is one of the most compact stops on Hull’s Savile Street LGBTQ+ circuit, spread across two smartly decorated floors. Its scale makes it feel more like a local bar than a large club, with cocktails, spirits, beer and live entertainment drawing a friendly mixed crowd. It is particularly handy earlier in the day because it opens from noon, then becomes livelier towards the weekend. Pair it with the neighbouring Freedom Quarter venues for one of the easiest LGBTQ+ bar crawls in northern England.

What to expect

A compact and friendly two-floor bar with cocktails, occasional live music and a lively weekend atmosphere.

Extremely friendly bar. Predominantly an LGBTQIA+ venue, but welcoming of anyone who is an LGBTQIA+ ally. Relatively inexpensive drinks with occasional offers. Look out on socials for theme nights and drag shows. Dog friendly too! Good for a quiet drink during the day or a bogie at night.

I called in one midweek afternoon, It was quiet, but the staff and customers were very friendly. This new bar is a welcome addition to Hull's pub scene. There is a good selection of beers, lager and ciders. A real plus was the hand-pulled cask conditioned real ale, It was on top form when I called in. Regularly changing, they have had quite a few different ones on over the last couple of months. there are so many bars in the town centre that don't do cask Ale. This one definitely deserves a mention. Karaoke Saturday night and live acoustic musician Sunday night. A great friendly bar highly recommended.

Popped in twice on a Saturday. Bar staff were lovely, and drinks were very reasonably priced. A nice bar that makes you feel welcome!
