I visited Crystal Night Club, a well-known gay nightclub that has been part of Houston’s scene for many years. This place has a strong Latin vibe, which I absolutely love. It’s perfect if you’re looking to dance to a mix of salsa, merengue, reggaeton, and even more modern music. It’s definitely one of my go-to spots when I’m in the mood to really dance and enjoy a Latin atmosphere. During my most recent visit, there was a show taking place — it seemed like a competition or performance night with a mix of drag and impersonation acts. It was entertaining to see such variety and talent on stage. The bartender who attended us was extremely kind and provided great service, which always makes a difference in the overall experience. I wasn’t able to stay for too long, as it was a Sunday and the place felt a bit quiet, with a slower atmosphere. However, I can definitely see how this venue comes alive on busier nights. Overall, it’s a great spot for Latin music, dancing, and enjoying the local LGBTQ+ scene. Definitely worth checking out.

It was actually fun. We came when pride was supposedly scheduled but then canceled do to the weather, so it was packed that night! It's cash only! They do have an ATM (expansive) and I do like that compared to Los Robles they bring more pop Latino than Mexican style music. It separates it, I think what could work for if it goes in that direction younger/pop Latino as it did when I went there. The attendant in the RR is old school Latino customer service that I dig. I wished the patio was more... presentable though...lol. The drinks were filling as well! But the whole club seems like it's suited for a larger audience that it does not have with more competition. The location doesn't help either.

Honestly, it's a shame about this club. After being a place of many good experiences, the worst part is that hardly anyone comes anymore, and they're still charging for valet parking. It's really embarrassing. The drinks are overpriced, and the atmosphere is terrible due to the lack of attention from the waiters, especially Clarisa, who gets angry when you don't buy those expensive drinks that are so bad they give you a stomachache.

I always have a great time and the folks tending bar are always so generous and playful!

I felt apprehensive to visit due to the low reviews, but I loved it here! I was tired of the usual bars in the Montrose area so we decided to try this place for the first time. You have to pay $10 to park and $10 to enter; I believe only cash is accepted for those transactions. I really enjoyed that this establishment caters to Latinos. They played a lot of good music and the DJ played some songs I requested. Lots of reggaeton and nothing in English, which is what I was looking for. Everyone was very nice including the bartenders. I appreciated that they do not allow cigarette smoking. Looking forward to coming back!
