Coven: Headquarters is a five-storey LGBTQ+ nightlife and cultural venue on Old Compton Street in Soho. It opened in June 2026 in the former G-A-Y Bar building, returning a permanent queer venue to one of London’s most recognisable LGBTQ+ addresses. By day, Coven operates as a café, artist salon and community space. Its programme includes workshops, screenings, sober events, creative development activities and community gatherings. By night, the building becomes a nightclub and performance venue hosting queer club nights, cabaret, live music, experimental performance and special events. Coven describes itself as a home for every part of the LGBTQIA+ community, with different generations and identities encouraged to share the space.
A large, creative and community-focused queer venue whose atmosphere depends on the event. Visitors may find daytime workshops and relaxed gatherings, cabaret and live performance, or busy late-night club sessions.
