One of my fave spots in Oak Lawn — the energy is always 10/10. The owners and bartenders are amazing, super welcoming, and the drinks are not only delicious but also come with the cutest decorations. The drag queens always turn it out, and the sound system eats. And let’s be real — the bathroom mirrors are the most iconic in the gayborhood. Colorful, fun, and full of good energy — Crush never misses. 💖🌈

This was our first time here. It was a special event (feat. Gia Gunn) so we were worried it would be too full to enter, but to our surprise, we got a nice spot by the bar. Bartenders were cute and drinks were good. Definitely planning on going back.

Looks like this continues to happen to several people as well. I guess if the bartenders don’t think your young enough or hot they rip you off! Bartender charged us $12 for a happy hour drink. I went to the bathroom and saw the happy hour sign. Come on sorry I’m not 25 but don’t rip me off. We paid cash and the bartender didn’t offer me a free round. He instead said he would charge me $4 for the next round.

This place is so disappointing. I attended their Singles Event tonight and I can firmly say this will be my last time visiting this establishment. I could tell the Singles Event was going to be a bust cause only me and one other guy took nametags. Before I left, I went to the bathroom. I locked the door and used the toilet. There was no toilet paper. A man was able to open the door, there was even a pop when the lock unlocked. I notified him that the room was occupied and thankfully he shut the door and didnt see me in a compromising situation. I get up, lock the door for the second time and wash my hands. The lock popped again and a woman walked in, while I was washing. She left when I notified her the room was occupied. By the way, the automatic soap dispenser was broken, so they had a bottle of Dial soap on the dispenser. I looked around and realized there was no paper towel dispenser or hand dryer. So I was forced to wipe my hands on my pants. Furthermore, the bathroom floor was sticky. My shoes made that peeling-off-the-floor sound every time I lifted my feet. As I was leaving, I noticed the owner of Crush just sitting in his car, texting on his phone. The boomers were right, nobody wants to work anymore. Mind you, Crush almost went out of business last year before they acquired a private investor. I can see why this place almost kicked the bucket. Crush is definitely not gonna be around for much longer. There are McDonalds that are better managed than this bar.

I had an amazing first experience at this club — so much so that I came back a second time and brought 7 friends with me. We stayed until almost closing and had a blast both times. The energy is fun, the vibe is unique, and it definitely stands out as a great little hidden gem. However, I’m giving 3 stars because of how a recent event was handled. During a themed night, there was a Kesha singalong competition where the winner (my niece) was supposed to receive tickets. Despite being announced as the winner, they were never contacted or given the promised concert tickets. We’ve reached out through calls, emails, comments, and direct messages (to the club and even ownership) hasn’t resulted in any response. So, if you're looking for a quirky spot with a good atmosphere and don’t mind the occasional hiccup in event follow-through, this could still be a fun choice. Just manage expectations when it comes to promotional promises.
