Delmonicas

I had a really disappointing experience at Delmonicas. I was refused entry at the door with a blunt “nope, not today” from security, with no explanation given. It honestly felt like a strange power trip rather than a legitimate reason for denying entry… especially after seeing that other reviews mention similar behaviour from the same security guard. For a venue that promotes itself as welcoming and inclusive, this didn’t reflect that at all. It was actually my first night out in a new city, and being turned away like that set a pretty awful tone for the evening. Management really needs to take a serious look at who they have on the door. Situations like this don’t just affect one person… they actively put people off coming in and are clearly leading to repeated negative reviews. You’re losing potential customers before they even step inside. I’d recommend going elsewhere until this is sorted.

My husband and I tried to visit on a quiet Saturday night, quite early so the place wasn't busy. Bouncer told us "not tonight" even before we got to the steps. We're a POC couple. Hard to know exactly why we were refused entry but if you're POC do be careful if you're thinking about coming here.

Not bad, I had a great drink. Visited on Tuesday 7pm, light crowd but comfortable.

Bouncer was extremely rude, unfriendly, dismissive - elderly Scottish man Visiting from out of town with some friends- wore track pants, immediately denied entrance and said I wouldn’t get in anywhere in Glasgow (track pants were quite nice if I say so myself and I got into the gay bar directly next door right after so…) While me and my friends were discussing what to do, they decided to go in first while I went home to change my pants. The bouncer then proceeded to deny entry to my friends and said ‘I don’t need to give you a reason but you’re not getting into here’ Don’t know what the matter was with him but if i didn’t know better I would have thought we were being discriminated against lol Hope he manages to get that massive chip on his shoulder fixed, but he definitely is not helping his business if this is how he treats people. Luckily the bar directly next door warmly welcomed us in almost immediately, track pants and all, which saved the night. All the best to you, but will not be returning.

Delmonica Glasgow: is in the center of Glasgow, and it's a very nice environment to be with a group of friends or on a date. There are very varied proposals throughout the week, in general I always had fun. Although sometimes the music is so loud that it is practically impossible to ask for a drink. Recomendo/aos visitantes!
