Eagle LA

So fun and friendly environment. I was travelling solo and had a great time meeting people here. drinks were strong — the bar is cash only but there are ATMs inside to withdraw (for a small fee)

I love the Eagle but … I have to be honest about my experience. I’ve been going to the eagle for years and I go for the crowd more than the location. It’s a cash only location Wich is cool but sometimes a challenge. The atms have high service charges. Drinks are also expensive. Last time I was there there was someone one pick pocketing phones and I was one of 6 people that got their phones stolen that night. So go at your own risk Other than that it’s how you’d expect a leather bar to be. There’s tvs playing spicy videos and there’s plenty of eye candy

We visited Eagle LA on two consecutive nights while traveling from Ireland. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by one particular barman — a bearded man with glasses and a knee strap — who was consistently rude and unwelcoming. On both nights, he made us feel like a burden, never offering a simple “thank you” when taking payment, and his overall attitude was unpleasant. On the first night, we were later served by a tall bartender near the pool table side of the bar, and he was the opposite — friendly, pleasant, and professional. That positive interaction encouraged us to return the following evening, as the bar itself has a vibe we enjoyed. However, being greeted again by the same unfriendly barman quickly soured the experience. After just two drinks, we decided to leave, unwilling to spend more money somewhere that doesn’t appreciate its customers. As visitors from Ireland, we won’t be recommending Eagle LA to our friends. A bar’s atmosphere is shaped not just by its music or crowd, but by the staff — and unfortunately, one bartender made this venue feel unwelcoming despite its potential. Update: ( we were there on the 26th& 27th of July).

The manager of the eagle is extremely disrespectful and has actively made it harder to be a sober person in a gay space all because he wants a one dollar tip. They are the only gay bar in Los Angeles that charges for a water And then in addition expects a tip for it. It isn’t about the money. It’s about the lack of empathy for someone to be in a gay space that is revolved around alcohol, especially when they are unaware of anyone’s financial circumstances. I’ve been made to feel unwelcome in a space that should be safe for every gay person. If you are sober person planning on attending this bar I would recommend hydrating prior.

The club owner is a down to earth, all around great guy. The atmosphere is clean, the staff is awesome and friendly and the loca patrons know how to have a ball! I love this club. The food is delicious and provided by PHILLYJAWNZ. If you’re looking for a fun safe place to party EAGLE_LA is the place to be!
