Eagle LA

So fun and friendly environment. I was travelling solo and had a great time meeting people here. drinks were strong — the bar is cash only but there are ATMs inside to withdraw (for a small fee)

I love the Eagle but … I have to be honest about my experience. I’ve been going to the eagle for years and I go for the crowd more than the location. It’s a cash only location Wich is cool but sometimes a challenge. The atms have high service charges. Drinks are also expensive. Last time I was there there was someone one pick pocketing phones and I was one of 6 people that got their phones stolen that night. So go at your own risk Other than that it’s how you’d expect a leather bar to be. There’s tvs playing spicy videos and there’s plenty of eye candy

The manager of the eagle is extremely disrespectful and has actively made it harder to be a sober person in a gay space all because he wants a one dollar tip. They are the only gay bar in Los Angeles that charges for a water And then in addition expects a tip for it. It isn’t about the money. It’s about the lack of empathy for someone to be in a gay space that is revolved around alcohol, especially when they are unaware of anyone’s financial circumstances. I’ve been made to feel unwelcome in a space that should be safe for every gay person. If you are sober person planning on attending this bar I would recommend hydrating prior.

The club owner is a down to earth, all around great guy. The atmosphere is clean, the staff is awesome and friendly and the loca patrons know how to have a ball! I love this club. The food is delicious and provided by PHILLYJAWNZ. If you’re looking for a fun safe place to party EAGLE_LA is the place to be!

Poor service from bartender ROBERT … he needs to be retrained at his big age to learn how to deal with customers and actually do his job properly. I guess his hearing aide was not working cuz he got an attitude and confusing redbull for monster like what ?! If you’re not in a good mood DONT show up to work to take it out on patrons that wanna have a fun day to decompress from the week. SMH 🤦‍♂️
