El Mirasol Villas

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Palm Springs I’ve visited Palm Springs at least ten times and somehow, this was my first time staying at El Mirasol Villas — I only wish I had discovered it sooner. It’s truly a tucked-away gem nestled right in the middle of the city’s buzz, yet it feels peaceful, private, and completely relaxing. From the moment I arrived, the managers and staff made me feel genuinely welcome. Calling you by first name. And really getting to know you!! You can truly tell that the owners care deeply about this place and their guests — it feels like they’re extending their home to you, and that warmth shows in every detail. The property is gorgeous: two pools, a hot tub, and a steam room that’s actually operational (which is not always the case elsewhere…. “One place has had a steam room coming since my first visit in 2021… and still no steam room… #GoElMirasol ). There’s plenty of space to lounge, whether you’re in the water or just soaking up the sun. The lush greenery throughout the property creates a tropical oasis vibe, and from almost every spot, you can catch a view of the stunning San Jacinto Mountains. The rooms are clean and cozy, with super comfy beds, and depending on your booking, you might get your own private deck or a shared terrace. Either way, there’s no shortage of spots to relax and unwind. I’ve stayed at nearly all the clothing-optional, all-male resorts in town, and El Mirasol is now at the top of my list. It’s the kind of place you immediately want to return to — and I can’t wait to come back.

What a great hotel with lots of charm, cleanliness and very friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable too.

Great service! Spacious room with a comfortable bed and a small kitchenette. The resort is beautiful with a heated salt water pool, hot tub, and a regular pool. The resort has a very relaxing vibe. You can walk to town in 20-25 minutes, if preferred

We've stayed at this wonderful resort four times now; twice in 2021, once in 2022 and just recently (in 2024). It's always a real pleasure to stay here and Paul & Bruce are great hosts, very welcoming and accommodating. The salt water pool they put in is pure luxury. The grounds are lush and the crowd of men here is always a bit different, but typically very friendly and mellow. Can't wait to go back! Update – September 2025: We had another wonderful stay at El Mirasol Villas. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you again, Bruce & Paul! Oh and a shoutout to Tim and the ebullient Bailey 🐶. She is adorable! Five stars again!

Recently spent a weekend at the Mirasol. Found the grounds lush and beautiful. Had a room with a kitchenette and a very nice private patio, although the bathroom was a little dated. The staff was efficient and friendly. If you are a light sleeper make sure not book rooms 20-24 as they are right behind Ramon Blvd which has lots of traffic and can get noisy at night. The other negative is the weak breakfast they offer, it consists of instant oatmeal packages, a banana and a tangerine. A simple thing like offering hard boiled eggs would really make a big difference. The banana bread was a nice treat. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and we would definitely come back.
