There's something nostalgic when I stop at this place since it's an old stomping ground. I stopped in for lunch better today for memories sake and surprisingly it's still had the unpretentious feeling it always had. Buy I think it had alot to do with David, my server who im glad it's still here. He's super friendly and attentive and deserves a shout out. I even had a server who used to serve me all the time remember me. Seeing Cassidy brought a smile to my face! Now I always go for the Sriracha wings which always hit the spot. But today I decided on the chicken salad wrap with coke slaw. It hit all the right spots. The chicken salad was creamy, and I'd suggest to get it with onions. The coleslaw slaw was crunchy and fresh. For bar food, this place always stood out for me. In fact, it reminded me of when I lived NYC, but I always stopped here for for food for my flights. And don't forget your 2 4 1 drinks. Save those chips for future trips. But don't forget they expire at the end of every year! So the ambiance is still cruisey, and that's nothing new here on the drive. All places here are. But come here at night. Theres always trouble to be found here if that's your thing! If you're craving food and don't wanna go to the many clickey places on the drive, definitely give it a try! Or come here to find your version of trouble. No judgements at all! 🤣

Georgie’s Alibi Monkey Bar is an absolute must if you are visiting Wilton Manors or spending a few nights in Fort Lauderdale. It is one of those places that really captures the spirit of the area: gay, lively, welcoming, social and full of energy. I especially love the outdoor tables and patio area. It is perfect for having drinks, dinner, people-watching and just enjoying the Wilton Drive atmosphere. The place works well at different times of the day: you can go for food, meet friends for drinks, stay for a show, or come back later for a much more lively night. The staff is one of the best parts of the experience. Service is friendly, attentive and relaxed, with that easygoing hospitality that makes you feel comfortable right away. The food is also much better than what you might expect from a busy gay bar, with plenty of options and a menu that makes Alibi a real restaurant as much as a nightlife spot. The shows and special events are another big reason to go. Drag, DJs, themed nights, Latin music, happy hours and different crowds depending on the night all make it feel like there is always something happening. It is fun without feeling forced, and very much part of the gay life and social rhythm of Wilton Manors. For me, Alibi is a required stop in Wilton Manors. It has history, personality, great outdoor space, good food, friendly staff and that unmistakable gay energy that makes Fort Lauderdale so special. If you are visiting the area, don’t miss at least one night here — and honestly, probably more than one. El staff atiende muy bien, la comida es muy buena para un lugar con tanta vida nocturna, y siempre hay algo pasando: drag shows, DJs, noches temáticas, música latina, happy hours y eventos especiales. Es un lugar con historia, personalidad y una energía muy gay, divertida y auténtica. Para mí, si visitás Fort Lauderdale, Alibi es de esos lugares que no hay que perderse, ideal para ir una noche… o varias.

I’ve been coming to this bar for many years and have always enjoyed it, which makes this experience even more disappointing. On Friday, July 10, around 11:45 PM, there was an intense thunderstorm with heavy rain and lightning. Management had temporarily switched the entrance and exit so guests entered through the covered area but were required to exit through the uncovered side, directly into the storm. My friends and I politely asked if we could leave through the covered exit because of the weather. I explained that I suffer from asthma and was concerned about having to stand or walk through heavy rain during an active thunderstorm. Instead of showing any understanding or concern, the manager repeatedly refused, dismissed what I said, and even implied that I was making it up. We spent about 10 minutes trying to explain the situation before we were finally allowed to leave through the covered exit, and only after the women in our group continued insisting. This wasn’t about trying to break the rules or be difficult. It was about basic common sense and guest safety. During severe weather, forcing people to exit into heavy rain and lightning when there is a safe covered alternative just doesn’t seem like the right decision. I’ve always had good experiences here, but the way this situation was handled by security and the manager on duty was disappointing and unnecessary. I hope management reviews what happened and reminds their staff that customer safety and respectful treatment should always come first.

I really enjoy coming to Alibi Monkey Bar because of the great drink specials. The 2-for-1 deals on most cocktails make it easy to have a fun night out without spending too much. The atmosphere is always lively, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Definitely one of my favorite places to grab drinks with friends. Yamil is amazing!

George’s Alibi is my top go to destination in Wilton Manors when visiting from Miami. I love the delicious food, refreshing drinks, and variety of quality entertainment at Alibi. To me, what sets George’s Alibi apart from the other establishments on “The Drive” is the fantastic service I always enjoy from the Alibi team. I would like to specifically recognize the outstanding service I consistently receive from bartender Yamil. Yamil always warmly welcomes me back to Alibi by name and remembers both my favorite drink and food orders. He also checks in with me throughout my visit to ensure that I am having a wonderful experience. Yamil exemplifies authentic world-class hospitality and makes Alibi patrons feel highly valued and supremely special.
