The Corner Pub

I visited Corner Pub in Wilton Manors during my birthday weekend and initially had a great time. I brought three friends from Boynton Beach, and before my fourth friend arrived, three of us sat at the bar and ordered drinks. I had a Jack and Coke, one friend had a rum and Coke, and another had a whiskey and Coke. I paid cash for the first round, and including the tip, it came to $20 total on a Friday night, which is pretty darn good. Because the first round was so reasonable, I felt comfortable staying and treating my friends since they had been so kind to me for my birthday. We stayed until about 11 p.m., had several drinks, and overall I thought the pricing that night was very fair. My fourth friend later joined us and ordered Malibu and pineapple drinks, which also seemed reasonably priced. Because of that good experience, I went back on a Wednesday evening by myself, around 5 or 6 p.m. The bar was not very crowded, and I ordered another Jack and Coke. This time, the drink appeared noticeably smaller than the ones I had during my first visit, and the price was $12. With tip, it came to $14 for one drink, which surprised me. I’ve been to other bars in Wilton Manors, including places that feel a bit more upscale and less like a local neighborhood bar, where call-brand mixed drinks are usually closer to $8. I’m not saying anything improper happened, but the inconsistency in pricing left me confused. I did not see a clearly posted drink menu or price list, and I think that would help avoid misunderstandings for customers. Corner Pub seems like it can be a fun place, and my birthday weekend visit was enjoyable, but I would feel more comfortable returning if drink prices were clearly posted or explained consistently. But more so than even the drink prices, after my first drink, the bartender stood next to me talking to another customer — went back to the register several times and never offered to get me another drink. So I left. End of story.

Great vibe, great service, and solid pool tables. Corner Pub in Wilton Manors is one of my go-to spots. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and always feels like a good mix of locals and regulars. I usually come to play pool, and it’s consistently a fun, laid-back place to hang out without feeling rushed or crowded. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and the service has been great every time I’ve been there. Drinks are very reasonably priced, honestly cheaper than a lot of other bars in the area,which makes it easy to stay awhile and enjoy the night. If you’re looking for a comfortable alternative-lifestyle bar with good energy, solid pool games, and fair prices, Corner Pub is definitely worth checking out.

we heard great things about this place so we thought we'd try it out. the bar reeks of stale cigarettes and our clothes stunk when we left. we were told it was underwear night and 2 for 1's if we were in our underwear. I quickly removed my shorts but was still charged regular price. we left

You can still smoke in some Florida bars - who knew? Coming from LA this was .... special. The smoking crowd reminded me of those bad boys in high school who you wonder where they would be in ten years... I think I found them. And life has not been too kind. This bar is probably not for everyone, but it appears to have some loyal followers especially if you are a smoker. There are some redeeming qualities like decent pool tables and cheap drinks. My friends drank and played some pool. When we left we had picked up a new cologne call “Ode de Smoke” circa 1980.

Live blocks away, so we were so excited that it's no longer a smoking bar, met the owners and they're kind and friendly, was excited to hang out here regularly. But won't be back until they upgrade their system to open a tab without keeping your credit card, and/or a particular bartender Nick is no longer there. He was absolutely rude in both interactions.
