Stopped visiting here a while ago due entirely to witnessing aggressive staff frequently bullying customers which to me is hypocritical and unacceptable. Stonegate ought to send in anonymous customers to gather the real Halfway to Heaven, which needs an overhaul starting with the awful confrontational Manager and her crew who seem to regard her as leader of the gang.

What I like in this venue? The diversity of the people, from city works to drags. A fantastic mix and it works well. Friendly staff too. A good one to enjoy the end of your work day.

A place to go for the slightly older crowd that are working in central london. Pulls in a regular crowd and offers some fun entertainment downstairs. As with the name is a place that people often pop into on the way to heaven nightclub.

Gorgeous little pub adorned with fair light and flowers, a huge array of drinks options and the best bar staff (Timmy- legend!) Lovely air con and totally central, situated right across from Trafalgar Square, lots of little cosy spaces and drag performances in the evening, absolutely will be back and totally recommend ✨👍

Halfway to Heaven is such a welcoming and feel-good place. I’m not personally part of the LGBTQ+ community, but my daughter and friends are, and I was first introduced to this bar by two close friends. Since then, I always make sure to stop by before catching my train from Charing Cross. Every time I visit, I’m welcomed warmly, and the atmosphere instantly lifts my mood. It’s one of those rare places where you can truly relax, be yourself, and forget about life’s stresses for a while. Thank you for always making me feel part of the family. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

Came here for my first night in London with an old friend and we wanted a more low-key lgbtq pub to visit and was recommended halfway to heaven by a few locals. Great atmosphere and met some great new people! People were friendly and a wonderful show downstairs. Memorable night will def visit again next time im in the area.

Great atmosphere and friendly crowd, it's a good spot for a drink. The only disappointment was the bartender, who was quite grumpy and unwelcoming. When it came to paying, I asked much I owed but he didn't say a word and just pointed at the card reader. Fun venue, but the customer service could definitely be improved.

I go to Halfway to Heaven nearly every week, and it is honestly one of my favourite places. From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed by the super friendly staff who always make you feel right at home, they are always smiling and making sure you don't wait for ages at the bar even when it is busy. The crowd is consistently warm and fun, creating such an amazing fun and relaxed atmosphere every time, no matter if you are young or a bit older. And the shows??? Absolutely amazing! There is always something entertaining going on, and the energy is incredible. I can’t recommend enough this place whether you are a regular or if you are visiting for the first time, it’s always a great night out.
