About Hydrate

Hydrate Nightclub is a long-running LGBTQ dance club in Chicago’s Northalsted (Boystown) district. Open since 2003, the venue is known for its late-night dance floor, international guest DJs, go-go dancers and high-energy sound and lighting system. Hydrate hosts regular themed nights and draws a large crowd after midnight, making it one of the main late-night dance clubs in Chicago’s LGBTQ nightlife scene.

Bouncer said my out of state ID was a fake. I moved two weeks ago Didn’t bring my whole wallet so im rejected. Born 2001 Bouncer didn’t hear any of it. Actually said he was nice because he gave my VALID ID back to me. Instead of throwing it away Great place. Great training. Never coming to this place again

First impressions matter. First time in Boystown, barhopped all night and this place stood out the most and was the most enjoyable. High energy, didn’t feel “cliquey,” actual shows and entertainment going on. Good/strong drinks. Will be my go-to when I’m in town.

Really fantastic dance floor! Went for Club Flamingo and wow. Great sound, great lights, and a really smooth clean dance floor. Actually good dancing possible. Met the owner by accident and he was delightful!

One of our favorite spots on the strip. Draglicious on Saturday nights is always a great show and their Sunday Funday is by far the best. More of DJ Martin on Sunday Funday pleeeease 🫶🏽
