KU Bar & Klub

I had a really great experience at this bar and wanted to give a special mention to the team who made the night feel so welcoming and safe. First of all, the security here is excellent. Daniel on security was incredibly professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the night. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure everyone feels comfortable and safe. He handled everything calmly and respectfully while still keeping the atmosphere fun and relaxed. The bar staff were also fantastic quick, friendly, and clearly experienced. Even when it got busy, they stayed positive and kept the drinks flowing without long waits. They were engaging with customers and really added to the good vibe of the place. A big shoutout as well to the manager, JJ. It’s clear that JJ runs a tight ship and cares about both the customers and the staff. The team seems happy, the service is smooth, and the overall atmosphere reflects great management. Overall, this is a brilliant spot for a night out welcoming, safe, and full of good energy. Huge credit to Daniel, Francis, Raj, the bar team, and JJ for making it such a great experience. I’ll definitely be back.

I'd never been to the club downstairs Ku Bar, thought I'd give it a go tonight, Friday 14th August 2026. This was around 11pm after we've spent some time at the bar. The attitude received from the person selling wristbands at the door was unacceptable. We went up to the guy to ask if we could purchase wristbands and we were informed rather aggressively that the price for the wristband had increased from £5 to £10. Then we had to listen to a rather whiny yet forceful lecture about how 'no one listens when he speaks', how he 'tries to save us money' and how it was our fault because we chose not to get the wristbands when we first walked into Ku Bar. Firstly, neither of us complained or disputed the charge. We just wanted to get the flippin wristbands. Instead all we got was a woe-is-me rant from someone whose job is to sell these things, which put us off completely and made us very uncomfortable. It was a total damper to the night. Ku Bar, if you value continued custom, please ensure your staff speak to customers in a professional manner and leave their personal gripes at the door. We are not their agony aunt or punching bag for a bad night. Disgraceful behaviour.

Had an amazing time here yesterday. The staff are extremely warm and friendly. The security are charming and most handsome! These are the first faces of the venue and my goodness 😍 what a welcome. Will definitely be returning - thanks a lot boys ❤️

We decided to stop on in here to support our gay family🏳️‍🌈. It was nice. It was early. Of course I understand. They do not serve a large variety of drinks. If it’s it looks like before a certain time but overall, it smelled really really nice in there. it was clean the bathroom had some fruit flies. Not sure what that was about But the bartender was absolutely adorable. He was sweet as pie. They were welcoming to the lesbians👩‍❤️‍👩👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩 that showed up(that’d be us) and the drinks were good.

Lovely LGBTQ+ bar with ample seating in the heart of SOHO/central London and adjacent to the West End/Chinatown. If I am labeling the area wrong forgive me for I am a lowly tourist and know not the error of my ways. Service here is laid back and genuine with the staff seeming happy with where they work and have senses of humor. Ku Bar is a regular bar during the day which turns into a nightclub (on Fridays? and Saturdays) in the basement and remains a bar on the ground floor. Covers are not required for bar service in the evening but £10 is collected if you visit the club. I'm not sure how often the nightclub occurs since we've only been went once. Considering most places in London strongly encourage/require reservations, we were grateful that Ku Bar did not! The crowd was a fun mix of young, middle age, sprinkles of older folks, and some non-gay/lesbian groups.
