About

Dolphin Sauna is a cozy little gem tucked away in New Brighton. It's not just your average sauna; it's got a real community vibe to it, especially on Saturdays when it becomes a super welcoming spot for the trans folks.

Now, the place itself has got all the cool stuff you'd expect – a jacuzzi to chill in, a steam room to sweat out last night's party, and yeah, private rooms if you're feeling a bit more... private. And there's a TV area where they play adult movies, so it's not just about relaxing, if you know what I mean.

What's really cool about Dolphin Sauna is the vibe. It's not just about getting steamy; it's about feeling safe and accepted. They even team up with Sahir House, this LGBTQ+ charity, to offer counseling. That's pretty awesome, right? It's like they get that sometimes you need a place to just be yourself, no judgments.

The crowd's pretty diverse, so you'll probably bump into all sorts of folks. And don't sweat it about cleanliness – this place is spot on. Seriously, it's like they've got a cleaning ninja or something.

Just a heads-up, it's a bit off the beaten path from Liverpool's center, but that's part of the charm. It's like a little escape from the usual hustle. They're open pretty much every day from 11 in the morning till 8 in the evening, but maybe check their schedule before you head over.

Last Saturday I went there but Must pay cash as no cards, lucky I have cash. Very outdated and small. Saw lot of towels on heaters. There was few of drags around. Few old guys keeping come to me as told then in nice way that am not interested but they keeping come. I was sat down sofa and watch tv but there is drags on tv as not comfortable so left after 45 minutes. Place is too far out from city centre and should be in centre and it closed early 8pm. I am regular at sauna all the country. That’s worse place. Don’t go there.

It’s very far from the liverpool city center. Inconvenient location. It’s a cash only sauna, outdated, and full of senility.

The sense of community here is excellent! Met many people here all of which have been friendly and welcoming. 'Aunty' Pete is an asset to the team and will always go the extra mile for customers. The small environment gives it a homely feel and you'll be made welcome here.

I haven't been to this sauna for some years so it was nice to make a return visit.Nothing much is changed and the layout is basically the same with the reception and changing area on the ground floor, first floor: with sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi and on the top floor: various cubicles, porno video and g.h’sThe guy on duty was very friendly and helpful and keeps the place spotlessly clean.  On my visit there were about 12 clients for most of the afternoon. As the place is fairly small, one didn’t feel lonely.  If the full quota of lockers were used then the place would be packed and uncomfortable, although a few more people would have been welcome.  The clientele are of mixed ages ranging from 30’s to 60’s and plenty was going on.Unfortunately, the Jacuzzi is not working properly (difficult in finding spare parts), although the water is warm and circulating, so you can still have a rest there.  The showers are also a bit haphazard as there appear to be some water pressure problems, so they would occasionally just dribble on you!Since the closure of Splash on Liverpool this is now the only sauna within a 40 miles radius, so worth a visit if in the area, as long as you are not expecting a lot of fellow bathers. Although I understand that the T-girls day on a Saturday can get very busy.
