Racist!! I visited bookstores all day in Porto today and all were lovely with great people except this store. The person at the bookstore wanted me gone the moment i walked in. Kept looking at me the whole time and when I went to pay for the book i wanted he snatched it out of my hand to bill it. I thought a queer bookstore with all this marxist literature would let me use the bathroom but when i asked he said the rudest no. Now I would let this go and think that maybe he was just rude but another customer that entered the store at the same time as me (and was white) got greeted and had all niceties exchanged when they were leaving. I am particularly critical when places have such a high google review score. Anyway day is ruined!! My bad I don’t speak Portuguese and am not white I guess??

Impressive selection and beautifully organized! I love the variety of books available there’s something for every taste and interest. The layout makes browsing a pleasure, and it’s easy to discover new titles I wouldn’t have found otherwise. A truly inviting and thoughtfully curated space.

Beautiful space, great books in Portuguese and English

This is a lovely bookshop, with a great collection of books in English and Spanish in addition to Portuguese. Very well curated collection: fiction, essays, poetry, etc., and a superb selection of books on art. Very nice vibes. I loved it!

This is a great bookstore focused on LGBT authors and local artists. They have events with local and international artists and authors. The owners are super cool and really helpful.
