Mr. Flamingo

We had so much fun at Mr. Flamingo! The energy here is incredible — we sang and danced the night away and had an absolute blast. The music was mostly American hits, which made it easy for everyone to jump in and sing along. You could tell the crowd was mostly visitors rather than locals, but that honestly added to the fun party vibe. Everyone was there to have a good time and the atmosphere was upbeat, lively, and welcoming. If you’re in Puerto Vallarta and looking for a fun place to grab drinks, sing along to great music, and dance the night away, Mr. Flamingo is definitely the spot.

Good for a one time visit if you want to go as a group. Not great at all for single patrons. The music is very loud. Drinks are OK. We did not have a bad hospitality experience here like many other patrons are reporting. It’s fun to dance a bit and people watch especially if you are in a group. This place is not meant for meeting new people, in my assessment; just for going with people you already know and to dance a bit. The crowd was mixed which is nice.

This is a typical gay bar with cute waiters, an open air terrace, and a very small bathroom (be prepared to stand in line). After reading the reviews about how poor their mixed drinks are I chose to drink a double shot of tequila on the rocks. It didn’t seem to be watered down so I was happy with the order. The music was random, but great with plenty of people singing lightly while watching street traffic. I left when it started to get more busy.

Cash only. DJ upstairs accepts requests. We had so much fun and spent more time than we had planned here. Mixed, uninhibited, joyful crowd.

Went on a Saturday night around 10:30pm. Overly crowded. No cover charge. Great music. Very loud. Open air so you can dance in the sidewalk and still feel like you are at the club. However the 2 different cocktails we had were super weak, like no taste of alcohol or buzz at all.
