About The Palm Cabaret

Tucked away in Puerto Vallarta's lively Zona Romántica, The Palm Cabaret and Bar has been a go-to spot for live entertainment since 1999. This intimate venue, located at Olas Altas 508, offers a diverse lineup of acts, from drag performances to musical tributes. Over the years, audiences have enjoyed shows like "This Is Gaga" a tribute to Lady Gaga, and "I Want It All: The Freddie Mercury Story" celebrating the Queen frontman. The Palm's cozy setting allows for an up-close experience with performers, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors. The crowd is mostly gay, but everyone is made to feel at home. In 2024, The Palm expanded its presence with a sister venue, Coco Cabaret, situated just four blocks away on Calle Fco. I. Madero. Coco Cabaret features a larger seating capacity and high ceilings, accommodating more elaborate performances. Whether you're in the mood for a drag show, live music, or a theatrical performance, The Palm Cabaret and its new counterpart, Coco Cabaret, offer a variety of entertainment options in Puerto Vallarta's vibrant nightlife scene.

What a Christmas gift they gave us tonight at The Palm Cabaret. If you know Puerto Vallarta nightlife, you know Nacho Granados. He always brings the energy. Always. But tonight he was matched perfectly by Armando Chakam and what a duo. Two absolute powerhouses. The chemistry was instant, the vocals were insane, and they both performed like they owned the room in the best way. It was a Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé Christmas tribute, and they did it with style. Holiday songs everyone loves, mixed with a few classic standards, all delivered with that smooth crooner vibe but with real personality behind it. You could feel the crowd fully locked in. Smiling, singing, soaking it up. And can we talk about the band? So good. Tight, polished, and the kind of musicianship that lets the singers shine while still making you notice how strong the whole production is. This is a Chris Lopez production and you could tell. Everything was well paced, beautifully produced, and elevated from start to finish. It felt polished and intentional, with that perfect mix of classy and fun that keeps the night moving and the crowd smiling. A feel good, professional show that still felt festive and full of heart. Also, last night’s show sold out, so they added this one tonight on Christmas and it was the perfect decision. If you missed it, you missed Christmas because they brought the cheer. Fully. Good news though. They have two more shows where they will perform all the classics on January 7 and January 14 at The Palm Cabaret. I highly recommend you grab tickets. If you want a night of real talent, big voices, and pure holiday joy, this is it.

Just wanted to hop on here and praise the one night only performance of Hedwig and The Angry Inch! Spectacular show. The live music and vocals were incredible, the performers were hilarious- fully immersive- like spending 90 minutes with the original Hedwig- (lead is performer name Jordan and incredible job) cannot emphasize enough the value of this show- the humor and music mixed with some deep emotional content. It’s more than a good time, it’s healing and cathartic! If they do this again, highly recommend

We moved to PV last summer and every show we’ve seen at The Palm, or their sister location CoCo Cabaret has been SO good. A huge variety of artists collectively creating beautiful entertainment. So thankful to have these great shows in PV.

We went to see Miss conception. I was amazed and blown away by her performance, true talent, she opened her show with some quick costume Changes on stage right in front of you. Powerful yet funny messages throughout the show. I loved loved LOVED her last final number, it brought tears to my eyes, I’m not gonna say what it is, you just have to see it for yourself. Good show, beautiful act.

Wow! Our family went to the Freddy Mercury show. I would recommend it to anyone! Our kids, 7 and 10, LOVED IT. They knew all the songs and the intimate performance blew them away. All dancers were fantastic, it was worth the money!
