STUDS Bar

This was my first time at STUDS and, the management and staff made this a great experience for me. Knowing that I was new, they ensured I was taken care of at every step of the way. By the end of the evening, everyone knew who I was and called me by my first name. The bar and the environment were perfect for what I was looking for. The bartenders managed the crowds efficiently and with good service. Unlike at many other bars, I never saw anyone having to try to get their attention. The music was GREAT and the sound was properly equalized to avoid audio fatigue. I was there for eight hours with the loud music playing the whole time and never felt I needed to get away from it to rest my ears. Not very many bars are even aware of this issue or know how to adjust their equipment to prevent it. The customers were remarkably friendly and considerate of each other. And why wouldn't they be? It was such a great place to be!

Found this bar today with my old roommate. I always find a bar I like 2 or 3 days before heading home.... Felt rite at home, bartender that served us was a hunk...he left shortly after we arrived.....dern it.

If your going to charge a cover then please say so on website. Instead get greeted by the little obnoxious whoever that was that worked the door and told me if I have a complaint then go to the website. Which by the way, the menu of events has no mention of cover charge. Please update or change that so surprises. Beside that, it's a great place to dance.

This place is fun for partying but definitely a scammy place for drinks. I started a tab, we only had 8 beers and once I went to close it they tried to charge me $1200MXN for something that should have been $520MXN. The bartender's and cashier's excuse was that somebody else had the same name and that they charged the drinks to the wrong account. They then said they had no way to prove what I had ordered so because of it they had to charge me $600MXN. Moral of the story, DO NOT BUY DRINKS HERE as you will be scammed!

Love love love this place. Alejandro is the best. He helped me find my friend bag last night. Truly and angel sent from above. Couldn’t recommend this place more.
