This place is pure class! Nice sophisticated. I recommend much to everyone who doesn't like loud music and wants to talk.

Bit reluctant to review NBS as one of the reasons it's so great is because it's not rammed to the seems every night! It's not in Soho and a little hidden - but only a short walk from Russell Square or King's Cross/Euston tubes. The bar's not huge but a great place for an afterwork drink or even a date as it's one of the few places you can hear yourself speak these days. They do good cocktails for £4.90 or a bottle of wine for a tenner before 7pm on week nights. Even better is that they've no limit for credit cards. Being on a basement level it can seem a little dark on a summer's day ... but the alcoves (which you can book) make a great place to hang out with friends on those cold nights. Check it out - just make sure you all don't go on an evening when I'm there!
